Privacy Policy

Lokalshot collects only what is strictly necessary to provide the service. Your designs and screenshots stay in your browser unless you choose to create an account — in which case your projects are saved to a secure cloud database accessible only to you.
Anonymous Use
You can use Lokalshot without creating an account. In this mode, all projects, slides, images, and screenshots are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to any server. Clearing your browser data will remove your projects.
Account & Cloud Storage
If you choose to create an account, we store your email address and hashed password in Supabase, a third-party authentication and database provider. Your projects are then saved to a Supabase Postgres database — encrypted at rest and accessible only to your account via Row Level Security policies. We never share your data with third parties.
Translation
When you use the Translate feature, the text strings from your slides are sent to the DeepL API. No images, screenshots, account information, or metadata are transmitted. See DeepL's Privacy Policy for details on how DeepL handles translation data.
What We Do Not Collect

- —Any data from anonymous (non-logged-in) users
Data Deletion
You can delete your projects at any time from within the app. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we will process it within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Lokalshot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date.
